Slow Justice is No Justice.
After 10 years in prison, Driver (Dwayne Johnson, The Other Guys) has a singular focus—to avenge the murder of his brother during the botched bank robbery that led to his imprisonment. Now a free man with a deadly to-do list in hand, he's finally on his mission...but with two men on his trail—a veteran cop (Billy Bob Thornton, Eagle Eye) just days from retirement, and a young egocentric hitman (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Going the Distance) with a flair for the art of killing and a newfound worthy opponent.
The hunter is also the hunted. It's a do or die race to the list's finish as the mystery surrounding his brother's murder deepens, and new details emerge along the way hinting that Driver's list may be incomplete.
Packed with action, the film boasts a cast that also includes Tom Berenger (Inception), Carla Gugino (Watchmen), Mike Eppes (Lottery Ticket) and Maggie Grace (Knight and Day).
Rotten:
-Keith Uhlich, Time Out, November 17, 2011Rotten: Who is the unseen Mr Big who masterminded the massacre? The answers to these questions prove to be not particularly interesting, and the religiose conclusion appears to be a bid for support from the Bible Belt.
-Philip French, Guardian [UK], March 28, 2011Rotten: It's an exercise in synthetic attitude, and proof that Jason Statham, with his not-dissimilar Charles Bronson remake The Mechanic, has dislodged Johnson as the more reliable tough action star de nos jours.
-, Daily Telegraph, March 25, 2011Rotten: Director George Tillman Jr keeps revving it up, but this just gets tangled and boring.
-Peter Bradshaw, Guardian [UK], March 24, 2011
How can you go wrong with the ROCK!

I am a little predjudice about Dwayne's movies anyway, I will watch anything he is appearing in. It definitely wasn't what I was expecting but I was not disappointed. It was full of action and suspense, trying to figure out why things were happening.

DVD are to pricy, get em' cheaper at WalMart, Columbia needs to put bigger selection on clearance or bargain basement. I buy one just to get something in the mail.
